Kabob Express II in Centreville

I had the buffet which was pretty good. It's small with only one beef and chicken option. The naan is made to order and is huge. Overall; a good choice for the price on the buffet.

The gyro is fantastic and enough for two people really so it's a great value.

One of my favorite places to eat, I’ve been going since I moved to this area 5 years ago. I always get this dish, lambs chops with basmati rice, salad and choice of a side. All their dishes are freshly made and very well served, enough for two! 💯 recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of their food. Ordered double kabob platter with a side of chickpeas for Linch omg Delicious! They also have a decent size buffet, very reasonable price. Will definitely go back

This place is great. So far I've had the buffet and there gyro. The all you can eat buffet is pretty great, and the gyro is fantastic. The gyro is $10, which sounds expensive until you see the size of it, you could easily make two meals out of it, it's huge.

I admire this venue very much. It has a romantic atmosphere. The kitcen is wonderful. the service is effective and the crew is well trained. The pay is honest. I definitely recommend.

The employees here are really nice and kind and professional! They definitely make the best food.I’ve had a lot of kabobs in my live, but for sure there the best at it!!!!!!

Short and sweet review. The bread was very good (9 out of 10). The koobideh kabob was good. Not amazing but above average (7.5-8 out of 10). BUT the chickpeas were absolutely amazing (12 out of 10 lol). The 2 guys working were very nice and accommodating. Also, they have a buffet but I didn't get that. It looked very good though but I wasn't hungry enough. The restaurant itself is what I would consider to be standard though they did have some beautiful rugs all over the walls. I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! Very generous portions and staff was extremely kind. I ordered carry out and drove home 25 mins and the food was still hot and fresh. Will definitely come back and recommend!!

We had been to so many places that lack in quality and quantity for price. This place made us really happy! Food was delicious and the service from the 2 gentlemen there was awesome. It was clean and friendly. We will be back again soon!

The food is good that’s why 1 star to be fare .Customer service it’s not 0 its -5 stars Workers fighting and yelling at each others it was unprofessional at all.Also the person who answers the phone he has no experience no English god help the owner.the guy told me the order will be ready in 15 minutes ok don’t forget ok don’t forget ok .How I’m gonna forget if I place an order duuuh!!!🧐 Forgot the sauce ,spoons, napkins.

Called in a take out order, came 45 minutes later, nothing had been made yet, and they didn't remeber most of the order. As soon as I handed the guy at the register my credit card he took it and literally ran, unprompted, to the back for about 30 seconds, out of my sight. I asked them if they forgot to make my order, because it wasn't ready after so much time, the employee told me "no, it's right here" went in the back for 5 minutes, and came out empty handed. Finally, 10 minutes later my order comes out, but not before the cashier grabs the bread with his disgusting rubber gloves, that were supposed to be blue, but we're so dirty the palms were black. Never again, and I'll be watching my card statement.

Brought a big group of people to eat here and the staff were very accommodating. They handled every request perfectly and the food was amazing! Truly authentic Afghan food, and I drive 30 minutes to enjoy eating here. I highly recommend this Kabob Express as they are one of the best around!

Love this place. There are a lot of Kabob places in this area, this one is definitely one of the better ones. It does take some time for the food to get ready, so be patient. But everything is grilled after you order and its worth the wait!

Great atmosphere. With ambient lighting. You feel like your In a traditional restaurant.Came here during lunch and they had an open buffet but I decided to stick with the gyro platter.Everything was delicious but the gyro meat was on the dry side. Had to soak it in white sauce. But flavor was amazing. Everything else, bread, chickpeas, and salad, were fresh.Just wish the gyro meat will wasn't overcooked

One word...CHICKPEAS!!! The chickpeas are heavenly. They don't have then every day unfortunately. Everything is yummy and quite authentic. Most orders come with freshly made bread that can feed an army. The buffet is a great option too if you're not sure what to get. The buffet is available all day long so go hungry and enjoy anytime

Awesome place! Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is hearty and tasty, and the sauces are delicious. I'd recommend a visit. You can dine in or do takeout.

We ordered a simple chicken kabob meal with extra sauces, and we were given a sauce container that was eaten out of. When we made contact with the restaurant, they took zero ownership and responded with, “I don’t know what to tell you” Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.Had oil and remnants of food in it.

High quality, flavorful Afghani food! We tried the chicken and the beef kabobs and both were very good. They have different sides you can choose from or get the rice and salad. The bread is fresh and yummy also! Portions are large and service is good as well.

At first I didn't have any interest of trying out this place until my friends convinced me to go there. I thought I would be very picky of their menus, but it did not turn out that way at all. I came here a few times already and I already picked my personal favorite menu (Shown in picture but forgot the name). It's a nice place to hangout with friends, but the biggest complaint I have about this place is that the tables aren't large enough; so that when my friends get those enormous pancake-looking breads, it fills the table so much that it might fall off if not careful. I wish they had bigger tables but it's understandable since their eating area isn't that big either. Overall a good place.

Wonderful restaurant with even better food. It's a place for a quick bite, where you seat yourself order and then pick up the food. Everything is pretty straightforward. Although the food is where it shines. The chicken kabob is by far the juiciest I have ever had (aside from my father's) and the kubideh was full of flavor and spices. Of course the rice was forgettable and the sides weak, but the meat, the important part is where they go off. The bread as well slaps.

i’ve been going here for 8 years and their food and service has been amazing every time. my favorite is the kubedah kabob. the naan is always fresh and so is the food. their customer service is also amazing every time. their restaurant is also very clean and nice!

I went 07/08/2020 found a gums in my food they are not clean at all l couldnt return it because l leave soo far.

One of the best Afghan restaurants in NoVa . Very delicious food, great staff and reasonable prices.

I'm a loyal customer. My daughter loves their somosas. Well I went there today and this is what I got. My daughter was eating it and I realized it wasn't even fully cooked. It was doughy and tasted bad. I'm not coming here anymore to worry about if the food is cooked and good enough for my toddler to eat. As a food business, they should make sure their food is fully cooked before giving it to their customers.

This is my go-to spot in Centreville, especially for gyros! Stopped in here to pick up dinner the other night and it was delicious as usual. The guys that work the front are great and always friendly. The customer in front of me actually forgot his wallet and the cashier let him by, which is just extraordinary especially during these times. All in all, I urge local Centrevillians to support local establishments like Kabob Express and help them get through this unprecedented time.
